(NYSE: MOT) today announced the signing of a contract for the delivery of Third Generation (3G) wireless devices. Hi3G Access today signed a letter of intent with Ericsson for the supply of UMTS network infrastructure. Jan Edhäll har utsetts till VD för 3G Infrastructure Services från och med den 1 juni 2001. Jan Edhäll kommer närmast från en position som VD för Allgon. Innan det arbetade Jan i 24 år i olika befattningar på Ericsson, såväl i Sverige som utomlands.
Jan Edhäll has been appointed CEO of 3G Infrastructure Services as of 1 June 2001. He comes most recently from Allgon where he was CEO. Prior to this, Jan worked for Ericsson for 24 years, holding a variety of posts both in Sweden and abroad.
